The only way to protect meat on Woby's drying rack in the caves during acid rain is to stand next to a deployed umbralla.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Start acid rain, put meat in Woby drying rack.
  2. Hold an umbralla.
  3. Mount woby.

User Feedback

umbralla, umbrella and other things also don't protect other players from rain even if they're practically hugging so you likely not a bug, but might be nice to make shadow affinity woby immune to acid rain, because, well, shadow, acid rain

I think if Woby is treated as an extension of Walter’s character then it would be fair to extend Walter’s current acid rain protection to Woby’s rack. It’s like he’s sitting on top, holding an umbralla over everything!

There's already some issues with inconsistencies with acid rain vs rain, and how perishables (and entities affected by it) handle it, that need to be addressed. But I guess a very specific check could be added for this regardless of that being addressed or not, because it would still happen and it's such a unique case.

On a similar note (although not similar at all in terms of code), Wobot doesn't receive protection against rain as you'd expect when giving it hats and so, so an Eyebrella has no effect and causes it to still gains wetness, which causes it to lose durability when moving around if not offscreen (it not applying offscreen is also an issue, personally I made a mod script to make it consume extra fuel based on rain intensity rather than wetness, since it only applies when moving, and account for inventory waterproofness, provided by hats given to it, and have it update when moving objects offscreen).

Sorry if that's a bit off topic though.
