When a mimic is about to mimic an item, they will very commonly get stuck before performing the hop to the item sequence. It seems like they remain stuck in this state until a server restart.
Steps to Reproduce
Spawn a couple item mimics and try to get them to mimic an item
Notice how a few get stuck forever
