Hey I've been trying to play DST with a friend but have been facing issues. When I host a game, everything works fine on my end but he sees water instead of land and/or is lagging, basically it becomes unplayable. We face the same issue but in reverse when he hosts the game.
I have joined a number of other servers and I faced the same problem, where the spawn is in the middle of the water instead of land. But this seemed to be a hit and miss, sometimes it would load fine while others it would be bugged.
Anyone have any idea what might be the issue, its not the first time running the game, we played a while back for around 50 hours with no issues.
