Not sure how intended this is, but I figured I should document it.
In short, the main gist is inimical gestalts can be aggroed by ApE attacks, even when they are just following the user. The most noteworthy example of this is Winona’s catapults just barely grazing them, which in turn quickly leads to the gestalt attacking the catapults (and given its strength, will likely win). A more indirect example is the brightshade staff and how it considers the idle gestalt to be a target, which in turn will make it hostile to you. Given the prevalence of this mob, I feel this is a considerable problem
I feel a solution would be for it to not take AoE based damage unless the mob is already aggroed to something, which allows players to avoid having destruction issues in unrelated mob farms while allowing them to still be utilized for combat if the player intends to farm them.
-Equip the empowered crown and spawn an inimical gestalt. It should follow the player harmlessly
-Use any AoE based attack. The gestalt should consider it an immediate threat despite the otherwise harmless follow state
