Whenever I first load a world after first starting steam after resetting my PC, I always crash to the desktop upon the vignette loading screen that occurs when you launch a world (with mods enabled and disabled).
It's been an issue for a few months now :'(
I've noticed this in the server_log, which is new: "Parent process is dead, exiting..."
Steps to Reproduce
Have your PC be off.
Turn your PC on.
Start steam, then start DST, then load a world.
Once your are seeing the loading screen/vignettes, the game will crash to desktop.
It won't crash again unless you restart your PC.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
