This may be intentional, but it seems like webber and wortox are excluded from their list of automatic aggression, this being despite the fact that both spiders and krampi (if glitched onto a boat) will be attacked by them. In the case of webber it's less noticeable since he'll often have spiders by his side, but it seems to run counter to their whole "is a monster" downside, no?
Steps to Reproduce
1: Get on a boat as webber or wortox
2: Encounter a gnarwail
3: Proceed to not be attacked by them on sight
4: Release a spider or spawn a krampus, and watch as your boat is speared
