Game not starting, error message at boot

I have just installed and verified all game files on steam on my 2nd PC. When starting the game, i am getting a Warning and i can only exit the game. 
See the picture below. I have disabled all old steam workshop mods i once used for the game in 2016. Reinstalling on another hard drive did not do anything, neither did deactivating Windows Firewall nor Anti-Virus. 
I am sure, i have the latest Windows Update and the lates graphics driver, i have tried everything, that is listed under the troubleshooting guide.

I think your profile file is either outdated or corrupted. Try deleting the following file:

  • Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\95145096\client_save\profile
