     i already tried download this game,dx, vc,but no use.

the question is that i open the game with no sound,when i tried the sound setting,like 5 or any number ,the sound remains zero.

Close DST before trying each step below:
1) Please make sure you have windows file permissions for all files in Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether
2) If that does not help, try deleting this file: \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\<your steam id>\client_save\profile

4) Try switching your audio output from surround sound to stereo via Windows.
