Game crashes on "loggin in" page

Hello,

I have the game on Steam. When the game launches, it stays on the "loggin in" page and if I try to click anywhere, it crashes.

I already tried different solutions: verify the integrity of the game files, reinstall the game, update my computer's drivers, launch the game in administrator mode... Nothing seemed to work.

I attach my DxDiag to this post. However, I couldn't find any "log.txt" or "client_log.txt" file in my Documents (there are only folders with no files at all).

Same for the MDMP file in my Steam folder.

 

Does someone have an idea of what can be done to solve this issue?

The client_log.txt should be under \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\<your steam id>\client_save
If you have no files in the folders, my guess would be either you lack file permissions for the folder or you have an antivirus software that is blocking the game from writing any files.

Problem solved!

The game required an authorization and we did not see it before. It is working fine now.
