Game crashes on generating a world

I'm having similar problems here. Whenever I try to create a new world with caves, the server gets stuck on "server is generating world." When I try to create a world without caves, the game immediately crashes in the world generation screen. I have no mods and have already tried reinstalling the game; it didn't solve the problem. I've seen others having the same issue. 

this happens to me too. it says "Error loading worldgen_main.lua". i saw this happen to a klei server recently too.

UPDATE:

The problem is solved.

It was an gemcore API mod which caused the issue WHILE being DISABLED.

The mod was the following:

And the mod I was using it with:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758532836 <-  "Global Pause"

The owner of the API mod fixed the issue, but you have to deinstall and reinstall it yourself. The mod has no update in the mod-menu in the game. 

What I did was:

Deinstalled said mods, tried to launch a server (sucessfull). Closed the game and installed the mods again. Then again tried to launch a server. This time it was sucessfull, too.
