Not sure if this is the game or if for some reason it's my pc, but ye the game crashes when pressing * on the numpad when debug is on. This is an issue for me because * on the numpad is the key I use to stop recording on OBS

Enable debug in your mod's modmain
Open a world
Press * on the numpad
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
