There has already been a report of this, yet no fix.

When the Friendly Fruit Fly dies, the fruit never actually spoils.

As far as I can understand from the code, the Friendly Fruit Fly Fruit doesn't spoil cause the game never makes it start spoiling.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. kill friendly fruit fly (you monster).
  2. notice that it doesn't spoil.

i am a person

it's not really a game killer bug i see it as a plus since you can use it as fuel well it says in the wiki that it spoils in 6 days but it actually never spoils friendly fruit flies don't really die often too.
