Forum does not include archived posts in searches

Hi.

I have a ton of still valid help posts becoming archived, and now I can't search them up anymore using the search function on the forum. This is terrible! There are so many great guides and code-snippets I've done that'll still work, and now they're in some sort of limbo.

Additionally, many links to old posts give me a message that I do not have permission to view them, though they seem to have been written by modders, and the short summary of them sounds very helpful.

Is there any way you can maybe extend the time before a post becomes archived? And most importantly make it possible to also search in archived posts? Perhaps with an extra checkbox or something? It's getting really hard to find any of my old guides.
