Deerclops spawn right at winter day 1 morning

Deerclops respawns after 15 days of winter. It's possible you killed him very quickly the previous year, so he respawns as soon as next winter came- with that, sometimes there's a bug when the warning is cut off and only last bits are left. 

I had a second deerclops coming one winter, the warning started just before morning of first day of spring- it stopped at once. Next winter, Deerclops arrived basically unannounced. 

Whether that's an actual bug or, well, a feature... No idea
