Corrupted mods. (with pics)

I have started to play don't starve together again. 
I have played on my friend's server with mods on. The next day those mods appeared in my folder but under the term Workshop as in Steam workshop, I presume. They are not compatible and they say Unknown underneath them. I never installed these and I did not have auto-subscribe to these mods on when I first played.

These corrupted mods will not let me play on servers. I do not know how to fix this bug I have tried to install and reinstall these mods, which are named in Steam workshop when I press more info. I am running on Windows 10.

Steps to Reproduce
Play on a server with a lot of mods. and have Auto subscribe off in the settings
Go to bugs

Thanks for the report @brinvasion. This is an issue we're aware of and trying to track down. In the meantime, you can try following Fidooop's workaround.
