I've checked the code of DST and seeing support for DualShock and DualSense controllers. However upon plugging in my Dual sense the game detects said controller as Xbox controller. Leading to the game using wrong controller scheme. 

 

This is also case in base DS

Steps to Reproduce

Plug in a DualSense or Dualshock controller. 

Go to bugs

noticed this too quite a while ago, i feel like its maybe releated to steam input? no idea how it works though, if the game has base controller support i assume steam input wouldnt try to intervene

If Steam Input is enabled i will recognize it as Xbox controller.

If you disable it will use correct PS4/PS5 layout but it wont register your inputs.
