Normally, mobs check for either the "NOCLICK" or "outofreach" tag to determine whether or not a food item can be eaten. The following mobs don't do that:
Birds, Rabbits, Rabbit King, Carrats, Crustashines, Smallbirds, Gobblers, Pengulls, Hounds, Suspicious Peppers, Merms, Werepigs
This is inconsistent of the behavior of common mobs like Spiders, Batilisks, Pigmen and Bunnymen and dampens their usability in comparison to Bundle wraps quite a bit. I hope it can be fixed.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Make an Icker Preserve and place a carrot inside
2. Leave a rabbit nearby
3. Watch the rabbit nibble at the carrot after some shuffling around the Preserve's collision
