Certain Favorite items will not show up in favorites tab

If you favorite an item that requires a certain tab/structure in order to craft it, it will not show up in the favorites tab.

For example, favorite any item in the APS station and it won't show up in your favorites tab unless you are next to the station.

Unsure if intentional.
