[cavespreview] Mod configuration resets to default

When I first opted in to the cavespreview beta everything seemed fine. Then all of the sudden, the mod configurations for the local server were resetting back to default. I then reinstalled and it went back to normal, only for the issue to be back afterwards.

That is correct behaviour.

Mod configurations for different branches are stored in different files - main non-beta branch uses save/mod_config_data/modconfiguration_workshop-<modid>, cavespreview beta branch uses save/mod_config_data/modconfiguration_workshop-<modid>_staging.

So when you opt-in into beta branch, you'll have to configure all your mods again.

yeah, i still get the same problem! all my mod configs reset. i will change one, click apply, and then i click change to see if the changes were saved, and NOPE! they are gone. ;c
