Cant access the combriner

Im playing on a world that was created before the new Pearl quest update. Before the update I have already given her the cracked pearl, relocated her and now upgraded her house to the 4th level, however, I don't see any option for crafting the combriner when standing near her.

Steps to Reproduce

Give Pearl the cracked pearl before the Pearl update

Same here, world created before Hostile Takeover, cracked pearl was given to her more than a real life year ago, now can't access the combriner.

Now that the possibility of earning additional pearls by drowning Pearl (and repeating her quests) was patched with no option to get another pearl (or cracked pearl) in the game, how are we supposed to access combriner?

I thought it was another bug, and maybe it is, but when I moved pearl to my place she just spawned in with another Pearl's Pearl. Dunno if this was the intended way or just another bug but it's still an unacceptable solution.
