Spiders in Webber's inventory will refuse food, which makes it impossible to replenish their freshness.
They are also unaffected by healing items. Using a healing item on them (including Healing Glop) will use the item up but restore no health. And they are not affected by the AoE healing effect either (that goes for both the Nurse Spider and the Healing Glop).
Steps to Reproduce
Try to feed/heal a spider in the inventory.
OR
Use Healing Glop (or the Nurse Spider's healing ability) while you have injured spiders in your inventory.
