I can eat food whenever in single player but when joining someone else's server and trying different characters it will not let me eat. The person hosting the server has no issues. I unistalled the game and reinstalled, didn't fix. I had no issues before the update. Also, I am using a controller, not a keyboard.
Steps to Reproduce
Join game via friend's server, enter the world, try to eat, the character puts food to mouth but the action does not complete and is abandoned, food not consumed, hunger not increased

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
