Can not drop(sometimes eat) anything from my inventory

After the update I(erinye.999) can not drop anything from my inventory or eat anything. It has been happening for last four days and has rendered the game unplayable for me.

Steps to Reproduce

I was trying to fight a spider and tried to equip my axe but couldn't and then whenever I tried to do the drop action or equip action I was unable to.

Is the game server running on your machine or are you connecting to some other server? This looks a lot like really bad lag.

@Thorindam disable lag compensation in advanced settings and try again, maybe it will help.
