Currently the Briar Wolves death animation is bugged. It's missing its unique sound and a lot of the symbols are missing/invisible.
They're also currently missing their Rose nose in their side view.
NOTICE: The death anim is also bugged in the water, same as above but they also violently snap to an unused _loop anim that the normal hounds use.
Steps to Reproduce
Spawn and kill a Briar Wolf.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
