In most cases, hopping through a whirlpool created via a bootleg getaway causes the character to be stuck for a solid 5+ seconds as the boat drifts out the exit while using lag compensation, resulting in the boat inevitably crashing into things before you regain control.

Host a game. Turn on lag compensation. paddle into a whirlpool.
