After the last update the beefalo gloom bell will now revive your beefalo without being destroyed albeit with a cooldown of 15 days.
The current unique description for the beefalo bell ability reads "You can also sacrifice this bell to revive a bound beefalo" where it should probably change to "You can also use this bell to revive a bound beefalo. The bell will then go on cooldown for 15 days until it can revive a bound beefalo once more"

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
