Because pillar collision range is circle, it leave gaps to trick path finding.

I dont know why dev decide to pick a circle collision object for square pathfinding obstacle, but here is how to trick the system.
Step 1: Build wall near corner of pillar.

That it, that all it needed to trick path finding.
Here is how easy it is to walk past it: 

 Here is how path finding treat it:  And here is example of how it can be used to trick basic mobs's path finding.  This work the same as old way to put wall near void/ocean to make one path door.

Steps to Reproduce

Build wall near pillar.

it's the same as the case when you build with only walls. And you can find the hound and moonpig will attack the walls when you try to guard the moonbase in this way. the pillar has registered the pathfing walls, and its affect to the pathfinding result just works as same as the wall.
