It would be amazing to have a bull kelp farm for the new lunar isles or just having them as a emergency food but so far the only way to plant them is to glitch your self off the land to plant them on sea other wise trying to plant them by legit means like making a boat wont let you plant because the boat or just being too close to land.
also every time i attempt to plant bull kelp il have like 8 of them in my inventory and as soon as i attempt to plant one with it unequiped suddenly all 8 of my bull kelps become 2 (1 in my hand and 1 in my inventory)

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
