Building lunar siphonator silences mysterious energy

After setting up the 3 moon altars, the mysterious energy is summoned. After the initial summoning noise, there's an ambient hum that's quite loud. This completely goes away after building the lunar siphonator which feels wrong (why would putting a base under the energy stop its noise).
