I think you simply removed the extra 25 planar of Wolfgang when the staff is equiped, but if you change to the brightshade sword after you cast, all of the ricochet will be with the extra 25 planar buff.

ps. Please give 5 to 10 extra physical damage to the staff for everyone :^)
Steps to Reproduce
1. Be Mighty Wolfgang
2. Fire several projectibles with the staff
3. Switch to Brightshade sword before the ricochets end
