Willow doesnt gain damage against shadows with affinity perk.

I think every character gains 10% damage against shadows with their lunar affinity? I was using Willows lunar affinity Bernie perk and it doesnt give willow extra damage against shadows when i checked. Wondering if that is normal. I even tried unlocking both perks and Willow doesnt gain the 10% damage boost to shadows
