When the ice sheet is destroyed, the docks it connects still exist.

As shown in the video. The ice sheet is the only "land" that connect with this two docks, and when it is destroyed, the docks are not destroyed, creating an island at ocean.

Although it rarely happens, ice sheets do spawn near coastal ocean, sometimes "real one", sometimes the coastal ocean as part of Hermits and Monkey Islands.
