In an update this year, living log and purple gem were change to can't be deconstruction by Deconstruction Staff, because they wouldn't drop anything and only waste the durability of the staff.
Wes's balloon had the same problem, but was forgotten in that update.

1.deconstruction wes balloon
2.its drop nothing
