Walter can interrupt the Weaver's key-pulling action outside the atrium area

Catapult 2.0
  • Fixed
As demonstrated in the video, Walter can generate the small tentacles of the cursed ammunition more quickly with a high attack speed from a Shadow Grasp or Queen Bee Grasp. The combination of more small tentacles and faster attack speed creates a high attack frequency, which allows Walter to directly interrupt the Shadow Weaver's action of pulling out the key (even without such a high attack speed, more Walters can also achieve this).
The Shadow Weaver does not generate aggro (hostility) towards attackers outside the Atrium area. Walter can easily attack the Shadow Weaver from outside the Atrium. As long as Walter leaves the Atrium before the Shadow Weaver enters Phase 2, the Shadow Weaver will not generate aggro and thus will be unable to use its defensive and healing skills.

The video used Spicy Lightning Horn to reduce the time, but it does not affect the test results.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Initiate combat with the Shadow Weaver and reduce its health to near Phase 2.
  2. Use a Lazy Magic Wand or Shadow Woby to teleport outside the Atrium area.
  3. Equip Cursed Ammunition with a Queen Bee Grasp and attach a Slingshot Strap. Hold down the "F" key without releasing it until the Shadow Weaver is defeated.

If this is going to be patched then hopefully it will also fix CK skipping his taunt phase when hit by tentacles.

The issue you mentioned has already been fixed today. I suggest you file this as a separate bug report under the bug branch.

If it’s already been fixed then why should I report it?
