Apparently, the Strident Trident can summon geysers with enough force to shatter stone, but they can't destroy a tree that can be destroyed by ramming it with your boat.
Seems like an oversight.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Try to use the Trident's geysers to destroy Knobbly Trees.
2. Fail.
3. Realize everything you know from high school physics was wrong.
