The minimap icon for the pillars that fall when AG runs into a pillar is that of a nitre boulder.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

aren't they just resprited boulders? the examination quotes are the same and you can mine them for rocks

If they are resprited boulders, they can get resprited mini map icons.
