Place a tallbird egg next to a very hot heat source during the day (fully lit fire pit, under a Dwarf Star, etc).
You hear it cooking but no animation is playing, even for 6+ minutes and the egg doesn't die.
It turns into night and all of a sudden, the egg is starting the hatching process.
