Strange behavior of mods on the beta after the recent update

I posted something about this to see if any one else was experiencing this on the most recent patch for the beta, but I figured I would post something here.

So, I booted up the beta to have a look at what was new (love the music for the new menu screen by the way, as usual, great work!) but I noticed that the game was visually sort of... pausing, like it was struggling in some fashion to process something.

I thought nothing of it and went to make a new world to test, and I noticed something strange when looking at my mods, my list looked rather small, and every time I booted the game up, it attempted to redownload every mod I had.

Some of the mods, were there right away, then if I scrolled down, it was like the game remembered that some mods where missing, since many were. After it tried to do that, weirdest thing happened, a bunch of mods started to download all at once, and some of them were just a jumble of numbers that said crashed underneath.

After scrolling down the game would just choke and close without much or any warning. I am also noticing that its trying to download mods i am not subscribed to anymore on the workshop page.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. boot up the beta version of dst after the most recent patch
  2. go to mods
  3. scroll down to see your collection of mods (for some reason should remember you have more than 2 client mods- which are not even active)
  4. scroll up and down the mod list to quickly, game attempts to get the rest of the mods, game crashes.

User Feedback

Managed to get a video of it happening as well

Its really odd because I never have had a crash from the mod menu before, no excessive clicking whilst something is loading or scrolling through the list like a mad lad, just calmly scrolling down the list, it pauses on its own and then the game gives out.
