I think I found a way for the shadow hand to show up at FW before killing him thus being able to start shadow rifts before actually killing FW.
Steps to Reproduce
Start the FW fight. Teleport outside of the arena (maybe optional). Let him remove the key. May need to repeat once or twice?
This may not be the exact steps, not exactly sure how it happened, but the hand appeared at some point during our attempts to kill him.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
