When a rift fully opens, it appears on the map, but when it closes, it still shows in the map, you need to go in that area for it to dissapear, if you dont go there, it will stay in the map. I already had suspects that this happens (because in my worlds, sometimes I knew that the rift was closed but I still could see it on my map during gameplay), but I had no proof, so I made a world and tested it using commands to skip time such as:
c_skip()
LongUpdate()
Look, there is two rifts on the map.
