This is an old problem, but in this update the rift was changed to use a similar icon to moonstorm, so I guess this is a good opportunity to finally fix it? Just like the moonstorm won't be on the map after it stops.
Steps to Reproduce
- rift spawn
- go to see rift once
- leave
- waiting for it despawn

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
