Pirate raids attack Wonkey players

Recently I was attacked while being Wonkey and it wasn't the first time I run into this problem. I was sailing (as Wickerbottom), got 2 pirate raids one right after another, got 10 trinkets and turned Wonkey; but after about a minute another raid came while I was sorting stuff after 2 previous encounters. They didn't sink my boat this time, but it was close and it's concerning. I'm not sure what causes bug, my guess is it's either because I had 10 trinkets instead usual 12 (but I turned Wonkey!), or because double pirate raids mess up something. The other 2 times I had this problem I was also double-raided right before that, and I'm not sure about exact amounts of trinkets I had.
