The scenario here is, players would rehome Pearl somewhere on mainland, fulfill her decoration requests and thus build her new structures and place them down. After that, if Pearl is moved away by the rehomer elsewhere, the new buildings would now become "abandoned" and unusable. This makes me think that putting Pearl back in the previous location would revert this, but only Pearl's Hot Spring follows this logic.

I really hope this is not intentional, because it is so easy for any player to relocate Pearl away and wreck so much hard work, either by accident or deliberately. It is very likely that Pearl's building restrictions are going to stay, about which I prefer otherwise, so I hope devs would consider making it possible to revert the "abandoned" status.
1. Use Hermit Rehomer to relocate Pearl to mainland. Raise decor points and place down the buildings in her shop, namely the Light Posts, Tea Shop, Hot Springs and Large Drying Racks
2. Use Hermit Rehomer to move her far away from the old location. These aforementioned buildings would become their "abandoned" variants
3. Use Hermit Rehomer to put her back to the original position. Only Hot Springs would become functional again, while it is not the case for other buildings
