When playing in beta, one of our tamed beefalo suddenly become infested when out of our vision range.
After doing some research, I guess it's because when a domesticplantherd calling Herd:GatherNearbyMembers(), it can find a domesticated beefalo whthin its search criteria and add it to its member list. Thus as Lunarthrall_plantspawner components try to spread infection, it may find a beefalo in its target plant herd.
Steps to Reproduce
1. have a domesticated beefalo
2. plant some farm plants, berry bushes, grasses or saplings near the beefalo
3. maybe need to leave and rejoin the server?
4. have a Lunar Rift ready to release infection
5. wait until beefalo infest
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
