If you play as WX-78 on a wilderness server and wetness damage kills you ("Short circuit"), you'll get disconnected and lose all progress since the last save. (I could only try this out on self hosted servers.)
No issues when WX dies to anything else or when playing on survival or endless mode.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a wilderness world and launch it. (I used default settings with caves and no mods.)
- Pick WX-78.
- Increase your wetness to the point where you take damage from it. (I used waterballoons.)
- Wait for WX to die from wetness damage.
- Upon death you cannot pick a new character and get disconnected.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
