Changed Status to Closed Thank you for the report! The Beefalo bell does not eliminate the drawbacks of Beefalo being in heat/aggressive; this is one of the upsides of domesticating a Beefalo. So a bonded Beefalo going into heat is as-designed, and I'm taking this as design feedback with respect to the clarity of the bell's behaviour. A recent hotfix was made to reject attempts to hitch up Beefalo that are in heat, so hopefully it is clearer that Beefalo in heat aren't viable options for use in the event. -

Changed Status to Closed The bell was not designed to eliminate the drawbacks of Beefalo being in heat/aggressive. We felt that domestication was still the intended route to curb this feature, so a bonded Beefalo via the bell going into heat is as-designed. I'm taking this as design feedback with respect to the clarity of the bell's behaviour. Thank you for the input! -
"Harvest" actions can't be done on a beefalo.

We had to cut off the action list for riding players somewhere, and this ended up being how it is. I'll take this as design feedback, in case we revisit what can and can't be done. Thank you. -

So, I did some testing to refresh my knowledge, and I believe this is working as intended. When you begin to assist a ghost on the surface, their lost toys will spawn on the surface. If you take the Pipspook to the caves, their toys will not travel to the caves with them, as the toys are on the surface. However, if you travel back to the surface, the toys should still be discoverable there. If you find a Pipspook in the caves, and begin helping it there, the reverse should be true. Pipspooks following players into the caves is also intended. Please confirm whether this is the behaviour you are seeing or not!
