I'm under the assumption this is a bug, but the Salty Dog is immortal, unlike its flying counterpart, Polly.
They both act identically and fill the exact same purpose, but one is immortal. I noticed that the Salty Dog was actually given unique new custom death animations, too.
If this isn't a bug ignore this, the difference between the two felt odd though!
Steps to Reproduce
Equip and wear the new Salty Dog hat, notice that its companion is immortal, unlike Polly's hat and Polly herself.
