Honey Trail wouldn't "exist" on the ocean but Walter's honey ammo still slow down mob in the ocean

If Honey trails spawn on the ocean, they will fall straight into the water without having a slowing effect on the surrounding mob.

But Walter's honey ammo didn't seem to take that into account

Steps to Reproduce
  1. attack a grass gator
  2. no honey trail
  3. grass gator still slow
Go to bugs

Considering you can slow flying enemies with the honey rounds I'd say the vfx has nothing to do with the effect itself

but you can't.

honey rounds slowdown didn't work to flying mob same as honey trail itself
