in short you will not attack and just move into the enemy.

might be hard to reproduce but maybe hold attack key and/or hold click,

encountered same bug, coupled with the talking bug which cancels the player's attacks to talk sometimes combat is becoming a real pain

I believe I have found the issue and this should be fixed in the next hotfix, due to being hard to reproduce I am not 100% certain that this fixed it, so please let me know if this issue still occurs after the next hotfix.
