if you have the crafting menu open and you unequip your backpack the backpack inventory still showing. The opposite happens too, if you equip your backpack when the crafting menu is open it wont show you the backpack inventory

- open crafting menu and unequip backpack
.open crafting menu again without wearing a backpack and equip a backpack
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
